Thaumatropes: Learn the Magic of Early Animation! In-Person
Learn about an early animation toy called a thaumatrope. The thaumatrope is an optical toy that creates the illusion of motion with the "persistence of vision." Participants will make two images appear as one as they create their own toy. They will also learn about birds and make a thaumatrope that magically pops them into bird cages! Best for ages 6-11.
