The Office of Adult Career and Educational Services is offering this Free English class to adult students. This class is open to anyone who does not speak English as their first language. This class will assist students in developing their speaking, listening and writing skills. Students will participate in classes with a trained instructor.

The class will be held in accordance with the Rochester City School District School Calendar and will begin on September 5, 2024.Class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm-8pm.

Students will learn English through topics including but not limited to: Community, Navigating systems, Healthcare, daily living, shopping ETC. Students will practice correct English usage through guided practice and will also learn basic grammar and writing.

Please Note: Childcare is not provided. Children under 10 must always be accompanied by an adult while in the library.
