Storied Saloons: Local History Happy Hours explores the history of some of Rochester and Monroe County’s most interesting and iconic bar-boasting buildings. If you enjoy learning and libations, pull up a stool and join us as we uncover the past of a different tavern during each session of this exciting off-site series.

The Union Tavern has a rich and fascinating past. The building has been a witness to over two centuries of history and has played a variety of roles in the Seabreeze community. From the days of Prohibition and whispers of secret gatherings to tales of larger-than-life characters, there’s no shortage of intrigue. Join Union Tavern’s owner, Kelly Bush, as she shares stories of the vibrant personalities, mysterious happenings, and haunted legends that have marked the long history of this mainstay Culver Road establishment.
