Art Pioneers: Women of the Abstract Expressionism

Art Pioneers: Women of the Abstract Expressionism In-Person / Online

Celebrate women’s history as we discover the women who pioneered abstract art; Lee Krasner, Elaine DeKooning, Helen Frankenthaler, and others. Learn about their lives and their groundbreaking creativity. Following a presentation, tour the home and studio of Lee Krasner and her husband Jackson Pollock.

We are continuing our free art lessons with Joyce Raimondo, exceptional Education Coordinator with the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center. You can choose in-person or Zoom for these hybrid events on Wednesdays at 2:00 PM. Joyce will provide encouraging and critical feedback of your work during each session. *Please register in advance for each class and note the list of supplies you will need each time, whether attending in-person or via Zoom. Your Zoom link will be sent on the day of each class, so check your email & spam folder.
