The Fox Sisters and the Rise of Spiritualism In-Person
In 1848 two young girls from the Fox family began communicating with the murdered spirit of a peddler. From their humble home in Hydesville, NY, they embarked on a journey that would take them to many places. Tracy Murphy—historian, caretaker of the Fox Property, and Executive Director of Historic Palmyra—presents the history of modern spiritualism and the Fox family.
