Colorful Nature Scavenger Hunt for Kids with Jacob Kearney of Monroe County Soil and Water In-Person
Kids and families: Join us outside for a colorful scavenger hunt at Rotary Park. We'll be exploring the creek, creek buffer, forest and field finding items of a certain color (whether it’s live specimens from the creek or leaves of trees or bark from a dead tree). Following our collection of items, we'll ponder the role of each item as it relates to water quality, forest health, wildlife value, etc. Wear waterproof, comfortable exploring shoes and clothes. Appropriate for school age children and their adults. Limited to 30 children.
