All About Haiku In-Person
To celebrate National Poetry Month, come learn how to appreciate and write haiku with Michael Ketchek, former editor of Frogpond, the journal of the Haiku Society of America. Examples of traditional Japanese and current English language haiku will be examined and discussed, and for those who wish to try it there will also be time to write a haiku or two. Class will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 6:00-8:00 PM for ages 13 and up. Participants will receive a free haiku notebook! Space is limited; please sign up to reserve your seat in advance.
