Getting Back on Your Bike: an Introduction to Cycling in Rochester (with Jesse Peers) In-Person
Many people like the idea of biking more but don’t feel safe. Get the confidence you need to enjoy biking more with this free presentation from Reconnect Rochester. The class takes an imaginative look at the many benefits of biking and its viability as a transportation option. It'll dismantle many misconceptions, lessen peoples' fears with current statistics, and impart some basic safety information. It also gives a glimpse at the investments being made in Rochester and Monroe County.

Jesse Peers is Cycling Manager for Reconnect Rochester and is a certified bike educator through the League of American Bicyclists. He bikes for transportation year-round and has been car-free for over eleven years. An apprehensive rider when he first started biking, it took taking a class to get him comfortable.
