ERPL Adult Book Discussion Group In-Person
Please join us on the 2nd floor of the Library on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00pm for the East Rochester Public Library monthly Adult Book Discussion Group! For the month of May we will be discussing The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead. We have plenty of copies of the book in a variety of formats to check out at ERPL!
"In the early 1960's, an African-American teenager finds himself wrongfully convicted of a crime and sent to the brutal Nickel Academy, based on a real-life reform school for boys that operated in Florida called The Dozier School. Whitehead's novel is short, intense, and compassionate." ~ NPR
