LGBTQIA+ Archival Film Series In-Person
Join us for The Watermelon Woman! A 1996 romantic comedy-drama film by Cheryl Dunye. Cheryl is a young Black lesbian working a day job in a video store while trying to make a film about Fae Richards, a Black actress from the 1930s known for playing the stereotypical "mammy" roles relegated to Black actresses during the period.
This is a free event! There will be snacks!

In a strict Prussian boarding school for girls, sensitive student Manuela Von Meinhardis develops a forbidden love for one of her teachers, the compassionate Elisabeth von Bernburg.
