Paint the Colors of Pittsford Plein Air Workshop In-Person
Get outside and paint along the canal in Pittsford this summer! This plein air painting class will cover the basic tools and techniques needed to paint outdoors, including how to set up a palette, mix colors, and choose a subject. After a short demonstration, participants will have one-on-one instruction as they work at their own pace. This class is suitable for beginner and more experienced artists. We'll be painting in oil paints, with all tools and materials provided. Dress for the weather with layered clothing and a hat with a brim. Bring sunscreen, water, and a folding chair if you prefer to sit. The group will meet at the library and walk to our destination by the canal. In case of inclement weather, registrants will be contacted about a rain date. Registration required.
