The Presidential Election of 1912

The Presidential Election of 1912 In-Person

The Presidential election of 1912 is one of the most fascinating ones in American history! Of the four men who ran that year, one was a former President, one a current President, and one a future President: Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, and Woodrow Wilson. Add on to that list a popular Socialist leader- Eugene Debs.

These four giants would run against each other to decide the future of this country. Little did they know that the winner would have to fight World War I during their term. This election was one of divided friendships, bitter rivalries, and an assassination attempt.

Please join MCC professor of History, Mark Sample, as he tells the story of these men & their times!
