Friends of Gates Public Library Used Book Sale In-Person

The Friends of the Gates Public Library announce their Used Book Sales of the year, which will be held July 16-18 at Gates Public Library (902 Elmgrove Road). The sale features books, DVDs, CDs, games, puzzles, and specials. Proceeds benefit the Gates Public Library.

Book sale hours and daily specials are as follows:

  • Friends Members Only (Join in advance at the circulation desk or at the door: $5 individual, $10 family, $25 sponsor, $100 lifetime member)
    • Thursday, 7/16: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • General Public Sale
    • Friday, 7/17: 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. 
    • Saturday, 7/18: 10 a.m.– 3 p.m. ($4 bag day)

Please bring your own bags. Food and drink are not allowed. Aisles are narrow, please do not bring baby strollers or shopping carts. Shoppers may pay with cash or credit card.
