Sandra Day O'Connor - First Female Justice of the Supreme Court In-Person

The first female justice on the U.S. Supreme Court, Sandra Day O'Connor, was raised on a ranch in Arizona. This upbringing helped to develop her confidence and self-assurance when she reached the Supreme Court. Growing up in an America where most women were expected to become a housewife, O'Connor instead became an important voice on the Supreme Court!

Please join us as MCC Professor of History, Mark Sample, tells the story of this strong American figure!
