Modern Art Moves

Modern Art Moves In-Person / Online

Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator with the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center, provides an art history lesson plus a workshop during each of her sessions, along with encouraging and critical feedback of your work. You can choose in-person or Zoom for these hybrid events.

A speeding train, a twirling ballerina, a swoosh of paint... this session provides an overview of innovative ways modern artists capture motion in art. Following the presentation, create your own drawing or painting that captures movement on Wednesday, December 10th at 2:00 PM.

*Please register in advance for each class and have paper, pencils or watercolor/acrylic paints & brushes with you, whether attending in-person or via Zoom. Your Zoom link will be sent on the day of each class, so check your email & spam folder.
