Zoom Rochester Reads Keynote Event Online
Watch Camilla T Dungy’s Keynote Address for the Rochester Reads series streaming live from the Memorial Art Gallery. In Soil: The Story of a Black Mother’s Garden poet and scholar Camille T. Dungy recounts the seven-year odyssey to diversify her garden in the predominantly white community of Fort Collins, Colorado. This is a Zoom event. Registration is required.
This program is offered in partnership with Rochester Reads!, an annual city-wide tradition created by Writers & Books in 2001 that inspires readers to connect to one another through the shared experience of literature. This year's selection is Soil: The Story of a Black Mother's Garden by Camille T. Dungy.
