Lunch and Learn: Discovering Birds in Webster & Penfield In-Person
Can you identify birds from their songs? Learn about birds in the Webster and Penfield area from retired scientist Kevin. You will learn about which birds stay in the area year round and which migrate south, the three most common nesting sites, the importance of a nesting a site, and how to attract the largest variety of birds to your property.
Bring a bag lunch and eat with us at 12:30 pm, before this informative talk. If you just want to listen to the talk, please come at 1:00. Beverages and dessert will be provided.

About our presenter: Kevin is a retired scientist and served as the Director of a nation-wide captive breeding program for an endangered bird from Venezuela in the early 1990’s. He has had a life-long interest in local birds and birdsongs, and has been referred to as the “Birdman” from a young age.
