AARP Smart Driver In-Person
The AARP Smart Driver™ course, offered by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation's first and largest refresher course. For more than 35 years, the course has taught over 16 million drivers proven safety strategies so they can continue driving safely for as long as possible. This course is spread out over two days - Wednesday, October 15 and Friday, October 17. Completion of this course can get you 10% discount off your car insurance. All 6 hours of the course must be completed to be eligible for the certificate.
The course is for all licensed drivers and you do not have to be an AARP member to take the course. The fee is $25.00 for AARP members and $30.00 for non-members. Only checks (made out to AARP) or money orders are accepted. Cash and credit cards are not accepted.
Interpreter services must be requested 30 days in advance.
