Booked Solid: Book Discussion Group In-Person

*Registration is open*

Tuesday, November 18, 6:30-7:30 PM

For Adults

Join us monthly as PPL staff members take turns leading discussions of books chosen from a wide variety of genres and time periods. This month, Julie Rapp will lead a talk on The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer. You may be familiar with Robin’s first book, Braiding Sweetgrass, which was a Rochester Reads book for 2021. Robin is a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and embraces the notion that plants and animals are our oldest teachers. Come hear how the serviceberry tree embodies a model of interdependence and mutual support.
