Overdose Prevention and the Opioid Crisis In Monroe County In-Person
Aisha Howard of Addiction Services for the Monroe County Office of Mental Health presents on addiction, the effects of opioids on the body, how to identify an overdose and how to administer the overdose reversal medication, naloxone. Those attending will take home a naloxone kit and Xylazine testing strips (supplies pending). Free program, but, registration is required. Open to teens and adults.
