The Amerks Reading Power Play!
A moose and a hockey player are visiting Arnett! We hope to see you here
The Rochester Americans and the Monroe County Library System are once again partnering to provide the “Reading Power Play”, which partners Amerks Hockey players with local public libraries in support of reading. The 2025-26 season marks the 20th year of the program.
The Reading Power Play involves players stopping by local libraries, reading to kids and giving a hockey demonstration. Each appearance also features the Amerks’ Hat Trick Reading Challenge and an autograph session by the visiting player player and The Moose. This year’s program will include 10 reading appearances across Monroe County.
