Story Time - Getting to Know Our Jewish Neighbors In-Person
Preschool and Early Elementary School Kids with Adults-Join us for a special Story Time where we Get to Know Our Jewish Neighbors. Learn about Passsover. Passover is an eight-day Jewish holiday. It is celebrated by abstaining from chametz (leavened bread) and eating matzah, an unleavened flatbread, to remember how the Israelites fled Egypt so quickly they didn't have time for their bread to rise. The festival begins with a ceremonial meal called a Seder, where the story of the Exodus is retold. Dalit from PJ Library will share Stories and Crafts. Please register for this special Celebration Story Time.
