Color Brighton Green Presents Walking for Rochester

Color Brighton Green Presents Walking for Rochester In-Person

Join us as we hear from Matt Apple, Co-founder and CEO of Walking For Rochester, a nonprofit founded in 2020 with the mission of eliminating litter in Rochester, New York. Under his leadership, thousands of volunteers have removed thousands of pounds of litter, driven by community cleanups, partnerships, and innovative programs that make volunteering accessible and impactful.

In this talk, Matt will share the story of Walking For Rochester’s growth, the challenges of tackling litter at a citywide level, and the creative solutions being developed to engage residents, businesses, and institutions in the effort. The presentation will close with an open Q&A.
