World-Class Figure Skating Lecture In-Person
Come meet your Rush neighbor, Anne Cammett, U.S. World and Olympic Skating Judge on Wednesday, January 28th at 7:00 PM in the Udicious Pavilion. To prepare us for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan this February, Anne will explain the difference between the short and long skating programs, their respective requirements, and the differences between pair and dance events. She will also explain the jumps you see figure skaters accomplish, and what judges look for when evaluating performances in a competition. Please register in advance for this highly anticipated talk!
