Author Talk - Leo Lyons, The Rochester Jeffersons, and the Birth of the NFL: In-Person
Leo Lyons is recognized as one of the founding fathers of the NFL. He was also a starting player on Rochester's professional football team back in the early 1900s - The Rochester Jeffersons; Lyons was also a pioneer of integration in professional football. Join authors, Jeffrey J. Miller, and John D. Steffenhagen, to discuss their book on Wednesday, February 18th at 6:00 PM in the Library. Please register in advance. The authors will also have copies of their book available for sale and a lot of memorialbilia to view.
