Timepiece Tales In-Person
Unwind the story of clocks as it relates to the history of the United States, presented by Garth Brokaw, local timepiece enthusiast. Brokaw has spent 50 years collecting American-made antique clocks and timepieces from 1790-1929. Displayed will be 65-70 of these timepieces, which represent a period of history in which clocks were a luxury. Participants will also experience clock songs, trivia, poetry, and a trip back in time tracing the history of time keeping. Registration recommended.
