Preventing Parent Burnout with Parent to Parent NY

Preventing Parent Burnout with Parent to Parent NY In-Person

Extraordinary parenting responsibilities create extraordinary pressures on parents. At the same time, parenting a child with special needs requires energy, focus, and enthusiasm to be effective in our role. The better off we are emotionally and physically, the better off our families will be. Join us for this presentation on preventing parent burnout to discover positive ways to cope with and effectively manage stress. This session will start out with a mingle so caregivers can chat and get to know each other then it will go into the workshop. Parent to Parent of New York State will be providing free coffee and snacks. No official diagnosis is necessary to join, a suspected diagnosis for your child is enough.

Registration is required. Click here to register.

About the presenting organization: Parent to Parent of New York State builds a supportive network of families to reduce isolation and empower those who care for people with developmental disabilities or special healthcare needs to navigate and influence service systems and make informed decisions.
