From the small towns of Salzburg and Innsbruck to the larger cities of Vienna and Munich, there are genuine and happy people ready to welcome visitors to their homeland. The mountains are spectacular and the quaintness of the towns special. Come with Dan Reardon vicariously through his striking photos and see what makes this part of Europe distinct. We’ll visit “Mad” Ludwig’s stunning castles, appreciate the interior beauty of churches and admire the beautiful High Alps. Together we’ll visit the locations that Julie Andrews and the VanTrapp Family made famous in “Sound of Music”. Yes, Austria and Bavaria is magnificent!
