Shipwrecks of Lake Ontario In-Person
Jim Kennard will take the audience on a 50-year journey of shipwreck exploration drawing from his new book that chronicles some of the most important shipwrecks discovered in Lake Ontario by his teams and fellow explorers. These include two of the oldest shipwrecks found in the Great Lakes. The presentation features underwater images and video of these sunken historic treasures. His book, Shipwrecks of Lake Ontario – A Journey of Discovery, published by the National Museum of the Great Lakes is currently available in a number of the Monroe County Libraries.
