Epilepsy & Seizure First Aid Training In-Person
Join the Epilepsy Alliance of West Central NY for this epilepsy and seizure first aid training. This presentation will cover some of the causes of epilepsy, different types of seizures, how to recognize different seizures, and how to perform seizure first aid. The Epilepsy Alliance of NY will also discuss the different types of available treatments, and the increased risk for mental health issues when diagnosed with epilepsy. Information will also be shared about Empowering People’s Independence (EPI), an organization that can help individuals and families who are dealing with the barriers presented by epilepsy.
