Author Talk: Leo Lyons, the Rochester Jeffersons, and the Birth of the NFL In-Person
In the early 1900s, Leo Lyons was the starting player on Rochester's professional football team: the Rochester Jeffersons. Lyons is recognized as one of the founding fathers of the National Football League (NFL). Come listen to author Jeffrey J. Miller and Leo Lyon's great-grandson, John D. Steffenhagen, discuss their new book Leo Lyons, the Rochester Jeffersons, and the Birth of the NFL to learn about Leo Lyon's role in helping create the NFL and his involvement with the Rochester Jeffersons.
