Unearth a Story: A Deep Dive Into Our Oceans In-Person
Elementary School Kids. Today we'll have a professor from U of R's Paleoceanography Lab talk to us about how scientists are using fossils and marine sediments to investigate changes in ocean circulation, ocean chemistry, and climate during the last 66 million years of Earth’s history (Cenozoic). Learn how their work is done and what they hope to accomplish. We'll have some hands on manipulative to help us understand this important work.
