Better Hearing=Better Living! In-Person
Representatives from the Rochester Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America focus on how individuals and families can better cope with hearing loss.
Topics include: long-term effects of unattended hearing loss; hearing loss and dementia; captioning on smart phones; low-cost assistance to those without hearing aids; tips if purchasing over-the-counter hearing aids. A brief overview of all programs offered by HLAA-Rochester will be provided and there will be ample time for questions.
An Express Hearing Check kiosk is also available for individuals to gain perspective on how well they are hearing.
HLAA-Rochester is an all-volunteer 501C3 non-profit organization founded in 1983 and offers all services free of charge.
