Build A Cooler with Cornell Cooperative Extension* In-Person
Youth will work in teams as engineers to design and build their own insulated coolers using boxes and a variety of everyday materials. After testing their designs with an ice cube and thermometer, participants will measure how well their cooler keeps temperatures low and compare results. This hands-on STEM activity encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking through real-world engineering challenges. Open to ages 5-12. *Registration required.
