Wired for Opportunity: iPhones & Tablets In-Person

Introducing Apple and Android phones and tablets! Learn about communicating, using the internet, navigating apps, and more. Students who have already received a Chromebook are not eligible for a tablet. This is a series of four classes as a part of the Wired for Opportunity program. Students must be at least fourteen years old to attend. If students complete all four classes, they will receive a free tablet to take home. Limit of one device per person, per household while supplies last.

 

Computer classes, devices, and digital resources are provided by Wired for Opportunity, a Monroe County Library System digital equity initiative supported by grant funds from Monroe County. This project is supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP0206 awarded to Monroe County, New York by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
