National Library Week Movie Night: "The Librarians" In-Person

*Registration is open*

Monday, April 20, 6:30-8:00 PM

For Adults

Join us on Right to Read Day of National Library Week for a viewing of a new Sundance 2025 World Premiere documentary that is a 2025 New York Times Critic’s Pick, winner at the Sarasota Film Festival, and winner at the Dallas International Film Festival. Librarians unite to combat book banning, defending intellectual freedom on democracy’s front lines amid unprecedented censorship in Texas, Florida, and beyond.

After the film, hear from local librarians, Adrienne Pettinelli, Director of Henrietta Public Library and Emily Clasper, Director of Rochester Public Library and Monroe County Library System, on what you can do to support the freedom to read.
