Build a Cooler with Cornell Cooperative Extension In-Person
Kids - Youth will work in teams as engineers to design and build their own insulated coolers using boxes and a variety of everyday materials. After testing their designs with an ice cube and thermometer, participants will measure how well their coolers keeps temperatures low and compare results. This hands-on STEM activity encoruages problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking through real-world engineering challenges. Stories and Crafts will be part of this program.
