Rubber Band Helicopter Build STEM Workshop In-Person
Join us for our Rubber Band Helicopter Build Night, where kids will construct their own flying helicopter using simple materials and a rubber band power system. Participants will explore how stored energy, lift, and rotation work together to create flight as they twist, launch, and test their designs. Through hands-on building and experimentation, kids will learn how small adjustments to blade size, weight, and tension can dramatically change performance. Each child will leave with a working rubber band helicopter and a better understanding of the science behind how things fly, all while having a great time building something that truly takes off. This is for kids ages 5 and up; please register in advance for Monday, June 15th at 6:00 PM in the Udicious Pavilion. Parents must remain in the pavilion for the event.
