Cyanotypes In-Person
The Cyanotype process is a simple photographic process that uses the suns UV light to expose its light sensitive material, then developed in water to make a final image. This process can be used to make many types of images and has a rich visual history since its invention in 1842 by Sir John Hershel. Come learn about this process, make a print and learn a new creative outlet that anyone can do with the sun.
Feel free to bring your own items to print, curiosity to learn a new process. Historical Local History images will be available to print.
