Learn About the OPWDD with Parent to Parent of NYS In-Person
Veronika Mourgides from Parent to Parent of NYS will talk about how to understand supports and services given by New York State's Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Veronika will help attendees learn the information about services and supports available for their children with developmental disabilities. Attendees will learn about the eligibility criteria and determination process. This will include an overview of the OPWDD's Home and Community Based Services Waiver and Family Support Services. No official diagnosis is necessary to join,; a suspected diagnosis for your child is enough. We will have a mingle before we start.
