Mad Chemist Night In-Person
Bubbling beakers, glowing reactions, and slime — oh my! Our August STEM Night brings the Mad Chemist Lab to life. It’s an event your young scientist will be talking about all school year. Kids ages 8 and up will mix up their own custom slime batches, adjusting polymer ratios to discover what makes the perfect consistency. Then they'll brew a natural pH indicator from red cabbage and use it to reveal the chemistry hiding in everyday liquids like lemon juice, milk, and baking soda water. The grand finale? Elephant toothpaste, a dramatic, foam-erupting catalytic reaction that must be seen to be believed. Goggles provided, curiosity required. Come ready to make a mess and take home some serious science knowledge. Register in advance and meet us at the Udicious Pavilion for this outside activity on Wednesday, August 12th at 6:00 PM. Parents must remain with children at this event.
