Although the Erie Canal opened fifty years after the start of the American Revolution, staff from the Erie Canal Museum will discuss how the Revolution shaped the people, places, and ideas that ultimately gave rise to this enormously influential public work.
The Erie Canal Museum is a historical museum founded in 1962 and located in Syracuse, New York.
