For Grades 6-8
Meet with other tweens who like to read! There will be snacks, crafts, and a chance to talk about books. This month, we’ll be reading Witchlings by Claribel A. Ortega. Feeling angry and disappointed when they’re deemed Spare witches without a coven, twelve-year-old Seven Salazar and her fellow Spares agree to take on an “impossible task.” If they succeed, they’ll get their full witch power. If they fail? They could be turned into toads – permanently.
