The Rochester region is home to a robust Italian American community. Its roots stretch back to a tumultuous period in Italian history in the mid-19th century, and its people are part of a diaspora that reaches around the globe. Join us for un po’ di storia, tracing the background for local Italian American history and memory from the 1860s to the present. Presented by Dr. Michael Brown, a Professor of History at RIT.
