Adult Program

Step back into Rochester's vibrant 1960s music scene with longtime local musician Kit Nelson as he shares the story of The Quirks, a hometown band that rode the crest of the British Invasion. Through live performances of classic hits and personal stories from his years with the band (1964–1966), Kit brings to life an era when jangly guitars and British-inspired rock captivated local audiences.

Learn how The Quirks became part of Rochester's musical history, from their early success to their memorable 1967 reunion performing songs from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Whether you lived through the era or simply love classic rock, this lively presentation offers a nostalgic look at the soundtrack of a generation.
