NASA's Exploring the Origins of the Universe In-Person

Description:

NASA’s Exploring the Origins of the Universe

For thousands of years humans have been looking toward the skies and wondering how this all began.  Truly, we are all astronomers.  During the last 100 years a theory of origins has been developing in the scientific community affectionately known as the Big Bang.  NASA has been exploring the cosmos to provide data to help develop and reinforce our current theories and expand our horizons back to the very beginning of time.

Join NASA Ambassador Jim Porter to discover the rich heritage of NASA cosmic exploration and where the latest missions will be taking us into the future.

Jim Porter has worked as an aerospace engineer in several NASA locations, most recently the Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasadena, CA.  His popular presentations are engaging and easy to listen to for all levels.
