The Fibonacci Sequence in Nature: Online

The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers that was popularized in Europe by an Italian mathematician known as Fibonacci in 1202.  A wide variety of artistic and natural phenomena have been discovered which approximate the numbers in the Fibonacci Sequence. Bob Beabout will describe some of these instances and speculate on why so many things in nature seem to follow the inherent mathematics.  Please register for this ZOOM online program hosted by the Pittsford Library on Monday, November 23rd at 6:30 PM.
