RPL Staff Training: Active Shooter Training and Drill In-Person
Vince McIntyre with City Security will be at Central for a training on how to react to an active shooter situation. The training will consist of a formal, sit down presentation along with at least one in person drill for attendees. The training may not span the full two hours, however ample time has been allotted for any concerns or questions that staff may have.
**Caution: this training will discuss scenarios such as patrons bringing weapons into the library and may be a sensitive topic for some staff members**
