Backyard Chicken Keeping Seminar In-Person
Ever thought about keeping a few chickens in your own backyard? Nothing beats the taste of fresh eggs from happy hens, and chickens make great pets once they learn to trust you! Dr. Sandra Sluberski will share how to keep chickens healthy, happy and legally—including your own town’s codes about keeping hens. You’ll also get to pet or hold two of her silkie chickens so you can see just how charming a pet chicken can be. Registration recommended.
