Cornell Cooperative Extension Presents: The Fibonacci Sequence in Nature - Zoom Program Online

Tune in to  to learn about The Fibonacci sequence.  It is a series of numbers that was popularized in Europe by an Italian mathematician known as Fibonacci in 1202.  A wide variety of artistic and natural phenomena have been discovered which approximate the numbers in the Fibonacci Sequence. This talk will describe some of these instances and speculate on why so many things in nature seem to follow the inherent mathematics.

Registration is required with an active email address for Zoom link. You will receive the link via email before the program. This program is hosted by the Pittsford Community Library. If you have any questions, please call the library at 248-6275. The Master Gardener Series is brought to you by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County and is available thanks to a consortium of MCLS libraries who are sharing resources and connecting communities.
